اختبار مقاومة خمسة أصناف من الخيار ضد مرض الذبول الفيوزارمي

الملخّص: مرض الذبول الفيوزارمي المتسبب عن (Fusarium oxysporum) يصيب نبات الخيار ممّا يؤدي إلى فقد كبير في نمو وإنتاج المحصول، وقد أجريت الدراسة لاختبار مقاومة خمسة أصناف من الخيار، وهي: (ديسكفري، كارما، أكسيا 1، أكسيا 2، وتويم) ضد مرض ذبول الفيوزاريوم. الأصناف لُقحت بـ 2 جم من المسبب المرضي لكل كجم تربة (2×10⁴ CFU/g) بعمر أسبوعين، وذلك في أطباق تحت ظروف البيوت المحميّة.

بيّنت النتائج تفوّق الصنف ديسكفري على بقيّة الأصناف، في مقاومة مرض ذبول الفيوزاريوم بشدّة إصابة 2.2، تلاه الصنف (أكسيا 1) بـ 2.5 (سُلّم شدّة الإصابة 0-5)، بينما الصنف (تويم) كان أكثرها حساسية لذبول الفيوزاريوم بشدّة إصابة 3.2 (سُلّم شدّة الإصابة 0-5). طول نبات صنف الخيار (ديسكفري) ووزنه أيضاً كان أقلّ تأثراً بفطريات الذبول بمعدّل 9 و13% على التوالي، تلاه الصنف (أكسيا 1) بـ 14%، بينما الصنف (تويم) أظهر تدهورا كبيرا في طول ووزن النبات بنسبة 26 و25%، على التوالي.

Evaluation Resistance of Five Cucumber Cultivars Against Fusarium Wilt

Abstract:

 Fusarium wilt caused by Fusarium oxysporum infects cucumber plant resulting to greater loss in growth and yield of cucumber. This study was carried out for evaluation resistance of five cucumber cultivars viz., Discovery, Karma, Axia 1, Axia 2 and Toim against F. oxysporum in pots under protected cultivation. The cultivars were inoculated with 2g F. oxysporum f. sp. cucumerinum (2×10⁴ CFU/g) per kg soil in two weeks of plants’ old. The cv. Discovery expressed resistance against wilt fungus by disease severity 2.2 (on 0-5 scale), followed with the cv. Axia 1 by 2.5. Whereas, the cv. Toim showed susceptibility to the fusarium wilt by disease severity 3.2 (on 0-5 scale). Minimum reduction of cucumber length and weight was recorded on cv. discovery (9 and 13%, respectively), followed with cv. Axia 1 (14%). Whereas, maximum reduction of cucumber length and weight was exhibited on the cv. Toim (26 and 25%, respectively).
