تقييم واقع تداول المبيدات الزراعية واستخدامها لدى التجار والمزارعين في محافظة صعدة ودور مؤسسة بنيان في التقليل من مخاطرها

الملخص:
هدفت الدراسة إلى معرفة واقع استخدام المبيدات في محافظة صعدة لدى تجار المبيدات والمزارعين وتحديد وسائل التوعية المناسبة، ومعرفة أهم أسباب الاستخدام العشوائي للمبيدات. نفذت الدراسة في ثلاث مديريات، هي: الصفراء ومجز وسحار، وهي المناطق التي تنتشر فيها زراعة الرمان والعنب والتفاح والزراعة المحمية وأنواع من المحاصيل الأخرى. تم جمع البيانات من خلال التقييم الريفي السريع بالمشاركة (PRA) واستخدام أداتي المقابلة والاستبانة مع تجار المبيدات والمزارعين في المناطق المستهدفة.
أظهرت النتائج أن 62.5% من تجار المبيدات يقرّون أن المبيدات خطيرة، وأن 87.5% منهم من ظهرت عليه أعراض أمراض سرطانية، كما أن 66.7% من التجار غير ملمّين بالأمراض والحشرات التي تقوم المبيدات بمكافحتها، و71.4% لا يقومون بإجراءات السلامة المهنيّة في محلاتهم. كما أظهرت النتائج أن المزارعين يستخدمون كافة أنواع المبيدات بنسبة 100%، وأن 60% منهم يستشيرون تجار المبيدات حول استخدامها، وأن 71.42% من المزارعين ظهرت عليهم أو على معارفهم أو عمّالهم أو أقاربهم أمراض سرطانية، كما أن مؤسسة بنيان التنموية نفذت العديد من الأنشطة التعريفية والتوعوية، وورش العمل، والدورات التدريبية في سبيل مواجهة مخاطر المبيدات والتقليل من آثارها.

Study Pesticides Situation at Farmers and Tradesmen and Bonyan Development Foundation’s Role to Minimize its Risks under Sa’adah Governorate Conditions

Abstract: This Study has been carried out in order to recognize pesticides uses situations on levels of pesticides tradesmen and farmers, determine appropriate awareness’ topics and mediums as well as, identify most randomly pesticides using reasons for both farmers and tradesmen. Data collected by participatory Rural Approach (PRA) face to face and already questioner prepared method.
Results revealed that 62.5% of pesticide dealers acknowledge that pesticides are dangerous, and that 87.5% of them showed symptoms of cancerous diseases, and that 66.7% of dealers are not familiar with the diseases and insects that pesticides control, and 71.4% do not take occupational safety procedures in their stores. Results also revealed that farmers use all types of pesticides by 100 %, and that 60% of them consult pesticide dealers about their use, and that 71.42% of farmers have developed cancerous diseases on them, their acquaintances, their workers, or their relatives. Bonyan Development Foundation also implemented many awareness activities. Awareness, workshops, and training courses in order to confront the dangers of pesticides and reduce their effects.
